We love our pets, and want to pass along this message and gentle reminders.
This post is prompted by a concern from a resident who witnessed an unidentified person interacting with her dog, and seemingly luring it into a vehicle. The dog was not taken but we wanted to alert residents to be aware, and to report any suspicious activity to the police and to our community manager.
- Please keep your dogs/cats on a leash at all times. This is for the safety of others as well as for our pets who could be injured or even stolen when not in our care.
- Please pick up any feces deposited by a dog or cat on public or private property of others. Keeping “poop bags” with your leash can be helpful. This is a courtesy as well as a Manatee County animal ordinance.
